It is illegal to be Homeless

Anti-homeless architecture like spikes and railings on benches, visualises how we treat those who need help more than anyone else. We take the little space they have left. From the warm memories of childhood to the cold moments experienced on the street, observe the different places people call home..

Note of Intent

The number of homeless people in our country increases every day. There are people who have no place to go when it gets dark outside, when it rains, when family’s start putting up their Christmas trees. It is easy to disregard homeless people as annoying and intrusive, as addicts, it is easy to decide they are not our problem.

There is something special about the places I’ve lived in, something I shouldn’t take for granted.
This film needs to be made because people need to become more aware of what they have, and what those people they quickly pass outside are missing.
